Out of (Hurricane) Season Emergency Kit!

In Houston, TX between June 1^st & November 30^th, you'll find yourself prepared for Hurricane Season with a Hurricane Emergency Kit. However, this isn’t the only time of year you should have an Emergency Kit on hand.

Although Houston may not see snow and ice very often, when we do it is always best to be prepared. During the winter months you should also be prepared with a Winter Emergency Kit.

Some items to include are a flashlight, a battery-powered or hand-crank radio, extra batteries, a first aid kit, a multi-purpose tool, bottled water, non-perishable food and of course warm clothing/blankets.

Remember, a little preparation can go a long way!
